Getting your Marriage License
in Hawaii
The good news is there's no blood test and no waiting period. You
can actually get your license the same day you get married. However,
you will need to apply in person at the Board of Health to get it.
The fee is $60.00 IN CASH, and you'll need identification.
Board of Health in Honolulu is open only on Monday - Thursday. It
is closed on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
If you call the Board of Health at (808)586-4544 between
8:30a.m. and 4:00p.m. Hawaii time, they will send you all the paperwork
in advance. Or, you can go to http://www.hawaii.gov/doh
and click "Popular Links". It is best to get your license
during the week, but if you NEED to get it on weekend, I can help.
